Mijas Pueblo- village in the mountains not far from Costa del Sol

Last weekend we visited a small town perched on top of a high hill or you could even call it a mountain. It is a short bus drive from where we stay, 15 minutes to Fuengirola and then another 15 minutes to go to the top of the mountain. When we arrived, it was siesta time, so almost everything was closed and it gave the town this sleepy feel. But after half an hour, it came back to life. Full of white houses, small cafes, beautiful gardens with the views over mountains as well as Costa del Sol plus an exciting visit to the Miniature Museum and first time churros with chocolate- a great day out.
