Gozo- Salt Panes, Marsalforn and Ta’Cenc

I was having Easter holidays and thanks to that it meant almost 2 weeks off with some work as well but much less than normally. Last week I went on my own to Gozo to have nice, relaxing day and to visit the places I haven never been to before. With my partner we usually go to Gozo with friends who are visiting Malta and we tend to end up in the same places all the time which can get a bit boring- Victoria, Ramla Bay, Xlendi, Dwejra etc. So this time I decided to check the sites we never had the chance to see. I started with Salt Panes near Marsalforn.

Next stop was Marsalforn and nice lunch on the promenade. It was first time that I approached this village form the Salt Panes- the west, so views were completely different and the whole place looked much better than I remembered from my last visits.

After being in the north I drove all the way down to Sannat where I went for a walk to Ta’ Cenc cliffs.

I guess after seeing this photos nobody can say that Malta is not green. Now is the best time to enjoy the lush green colours of the island which soon disappear in the summer heat.

To end such a lovely day I headed to Victoria for one of the best cakes on the island. In my opinion, they are as good as Fonatenella’s in Mdina.
