I like to visit Vittoriosa as it makes me think of the real, not touristy Malta. The place itself is better than Valletta as it is not crowded with tourists. You can wander around and sometimes not meet another person for a while. There are old auberge – places where knights from different countries used to live, churches and amazing views of the Valletta. Now, the waterfront has few restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner and the city slowly gathers more visitors. I just hope that it will still stay real and won’t loose its charm when it will be more frequented with tourists.
