Interrupted walk to Valletta

Before writing today’s post I would like to thank you to a person in Slovakia who yesterday visited my blog and because of her, my visits came 118 hits which is the most visits ever. Thanks a lot!
Today after my morning classes, we decided to have some fresh air and walk to Valletta and have some wine in Hastings Gardens which actually overlook where we live- Gzira/ Sliema area.
On the way there I was taking photos and I didn’t notice at first that my partner stepped on some sticking out metal part on the pavement. He is quite into barefoot lifestyle which mostly means walking barefoot everywhere, when it is possible and acceptable. Of course, not always it is easy and pain free and this time wasn’t different. Half way to Valletta he accidentally stepped on piece of metal sticking out on the pavement. We stopped next to Floriana and its garden and after finishing the wine we intended to drink in Hastings Gardens,  we caught the bus home. Not as exciting afternoon as planned but oh well. At least the weather was nice, as well as the views.
